So, the interview process started with a phone call with HR, which was pretty good and straightforward. I felt really good about the company and the role after that. Then, the second round was with a Junior rotational associate, and it was online. It was a bit weird because they were late, and honestly, they didn't seem that interested. There were two of them, and they cut the 45-minute interview short, finishing in under 20 minutes. They only asked three questions, and I did my best to answer them with enthusiasm. I was pretty bummed about how fast it ended and felt like they weren't really invested. The last round was with the manager.

The interview started on time. The hiring manager(s) seemed relaxed and were good at explaining things. They asked about my graduate studies and projects, the classes I took, and my dissertation topics. They also inquired about my programming skills and what language I prefer. At the end, they gave me about 5-10 minutes to ask any questions I had.

I applied last year through the Biogen career site for a Co-Op position in Cambridge MA. The hiring process was really smooth and professional, and it happened pretty fast. An HR coordinator managed everything and responded quickly to my questions. After applying early in the month, I got a call to schedule a phone interview within 3-4 days. This 30-minute interview covered both technical and behavioral questions. Less than a week later, I was invited for an onsite interview. It was a one and a half hour session where I met four managers and directors from the team. The face-to-face discussion was high-pressure with some really tough questions.
