Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Biogen.
Director
The people I spoke with were great, punctual, and asked insightful questions. The conversation was very open and relaxed. The hiring manager was transparent about the role's expectations, as well as the team's current challenges and areas for growth. I was particularly interested in the ongoing developments, which we also discussed.

I was traveling and didn't get the email (they should have called my cell), so when I arrived what I thought was half an hour early, I was actually half an hour late.
- Can you share an experience where you had to demonstrate a specific skill or trait?
- What's your perspective on managing and allocating resources?
- How do you see yourself managing people and operations within the current facility constraints?

They asked stuff way outside my experience, which was weird and kind of insulting given my background at other big companies. Nobody gave me their card or said they'd follow up, and HR ghosted my attempt to confirm the status. Super rude, especially after I came in person.
- Perhaps this is a difficult question, but...
