Behavioral Presentation

The people I spoke with were great, punctual, and asked insightful questions. The conversation was very open and relaxed. The hiring manager was transparent about the role's expectations, as well as the team's current challenges and areas for growth. I was particularly interested in the ongoing developments, which we also discussed.

Got contacted by a recruiter, and then they invited me for an onsite interview. The communication from HR was exceptionally bad. For instance, they accidentally sent me another candidate's interview schedule, and I noticed that the name of a third confidential candidate was still present on that schedule due to a copy-paste error. On the bright side, at least I got to see my competition. Also, on the day of the interview, they emailed me asking if I could come in an hour earlier. I was traveling and didn't get the email (they should have called my cell), so when I arrived what I thought was half an hour early, I was actually half an hour late.

Had a good initial phone chat with HR for a role I thought was a great fit. Then I met the hiring manager remotely, which was a bummer as she was in town the week before. After talking with her and a dotted manager, it felt like they weren't sure what this job was really about or who they needed. They asked stuff way outside my experience, which was weird and kind of insulting given my background at other big companies. Nobody gave me their card or said they'd follow up, and HR ghosted my attempt to confirm the status. Super rude, especially after I came in person.
