First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bio-Rad Laboratories.
Field Service Engineer
The process moved fast. I had a remote interview with the hiring manager first. Then, I interviewed with a manager from a different region, also remotely. The third interview was with the hiring manager and the area manager for the east coast.
- How do you deliver negative news to a client?
Field Service Engineer
First there was a 2v1 phone interview, and then a 3v1 in-person interview.
- Could you tell me about your strengths and weaknesses?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What kind of situations tend to unsettle you?
Field Service Engineer
After several weeks, I was contacted and informed that the interviews would take place in three weeks. The initial phone conversation was very brief. Following that, I had in-person interviews, each lasting about an hour, with the Field Service Engineer, Regional Manager, and National Service Manager. I was told I should expect to hear back within three to ten days. However, I haven't heard anything yet. I did receive a voicemail about another interview, but the message was mistakenly left for me and was not intended for me. All communication has been via phone, with no email contact whatsoever.
- Can you describe a challenging customer service experience you've had?
- Can you share an example of a difficult technical situation you encountered?
