The interview process at first moved rather quickly moving from recruiter screen to panel interview within 2 weeks and was told I would hear back in a few days After the interview panel it was radio silence for over a month, even after checking in and being told it would just be a few more days. I finally heard back 1.5 months after the final interview , even if I had been offered the job after that process I would have turned it down.

I had a screening call with the recruiter. It seemed to go well, and she was optimistic about moving to the next step. Towards the end, she asked about my work eligibility. I mentioned I have authorization for 3 years after graduation, being an international student. She said she'd need to check with HR and get back to me. I followed up via email the next day but received no response. On Monday, I got a generic rejection email sent to everyone, and still no reply to my previous email. It felt insensitive and unprofessional, and not a good sign of their company culture. She could have asked about work authorization upfront instead of wasting my time. Other companies I interviewed with ask this first. If they can't sponsor certain visas, they clarify that before proceeding further into the interview process.

I had an interview process that started with HR, then I spoke with the Hiring Manager. After that, they had me do an aptitude test and a behavioral test. Then, I interviewed with 5 people, and finally, I interviewed with the VP.
