First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BillGO.
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process was really straightforward. I was asked a lot of questions about different situations. I felt like they really got a sense of whether I'd fit the company culture. The interviewers from the team were upfront and honest about the job's difficulties and prospects. HR kept me informed about when I could expect an offer. Overall, it was a good experience.
- Tell me about scalable design patterns.
- What are the security best practices for different deployment models in a public cloud?
- How would you handle this specific scenario?
Software Engineer
The interview process was smooth and I had an amazing experience. The interviewer was friendly and supportive throughout. I had an initial HR call, and after a two-week wait, my subsequent rounds were scheduled. I went through four back-to-back interview rounds: three were technical and one was behavioral. Overall, I'm happy with how everything went.
- Can you describe how to design a system for scalability and efficiency?
Software Engineer
The recruiter reached out really fast which was good. We reviewed my resume and then scheduled a phone call. After that, it didn't progress. They mentioned they would connect with the team and schedule another call, but I didn't hear back. I'm okay with not getting the job, but it's frustrating to not get any follow-up after being told I would. The chat itself was really nice, but I'd probably avoid this company.
- Could you describe your past work experience?
- Have you had prior experience working in a startup environment?
