Behavioral Technical Presentation

The whole thing from applying to getting denied took 10 weeks. A week after I applied, I had a 30 min interview with someone from talent acquisition. Then a week later, I had a 45 min interview with the hiring manager. Two weeks after that, I had a 3 hour long interview with 3 team members. Two days after that, I got a weird email saying 'after reviewing your resume' and they wanted to schedule a 60 min interview with the hiring manager. I replied to that email asking what that interview was for, because it didn't make sense that it would be a final interview if they had just reviewed my resume. I didn't get a response. I reached out again a week later to clarify and try to set up a time, and they replied that I'd hear more the next week. I didn't hear anything for a month, so I reached out again. Two days after that, I got an informal reply about another delay, and then a day later, I finally got a denial email. I get being kept in the loop, but this whole process was handled really unprofessionally.

Behavioral Technical System Design

The interview process was really straightforward. I was asked a lot of questions about different situations. I felt like they really got a sense of whether I'd fit the company culture. The interviewers from the team were upfront and honest about the job's difficulties and prospects. HR kept me informed about when I could expect an offer. Overall, it was a good experience.

Behavioral Other

A recruiter reached out about the role based on my background and experience, handling most of the communication. The interview itself was with two people from the support department; one did most of the talking while the other was pretty quiet, maybe they were tired or had a long day. When I asked my questions, that second person got defensive about one about organizational changes, which confirmed what I'd heard from others. I also asked if they'd let me know directly if I wasn't selected for the role, which they didn't do. They ghosted me after the interview, which really made me second guess them as an employer.

Behavioral Technical

The interview process began with a virtual screening with a recruiter. Next, I was invited to a virtual meeting with the department managers. Following that, I was offered an in-person meeting with the department managers to assess if the position was a good fit. It was evident I was a strong candidate. However, the company was inflexible about the position being strictly in-office, citing faster customer response times as the reason. My concern was the mandatory weekly team meeting/lunch, which would be difficult due to my celiac condition, likely leading to an uncomfortable social experience and weekly stomach aches. They stated there was no flexibility for hybrid or remote work and showed no interest in accommodating my disability. I decided to withdraw my candidacy due to their lack of understanding regarding reasonable accommodation.
