The interview process started with a recruiter call, followed by a hiring manager round. Then there were two coding rounds, one focusing on Python and the other on SQL. Finally, there was a case study. The recruiter and hiring manager were really nice and polite. They were happy to let me introduce myself and told me more about the company culture.

I interviewed at BILL. It took about 2 weeks total. First, a resume screen, then a recruiter chat, then I met the Hiring Manager. After that, there was a Coding round and a Case Study round. Everyone was nice and cool about it. The hiring manager asked about my resume and past experience and did a guestimate. Coding was with SQL and Python. The case study looked at quantitative skills and strategy.

I applied via HR referral. The interview process involved 4 stages: HR Round, Hacker Rank exercise, Hiring Manager Round, and a Final Round. The HR person was very nice. I passed the Hacker Rank. Then the Hiring Manager (Product Manager) interview was scheduled. This HM was very rude and uninterested. They didn't even greet me properly or introduce themselves. They grilled me for the first 30 minutes on an end-to-end ML project, asking lots of questions about my solutions, and seemed disinterested. Then in the last 15 minutes, they gave me SQL exercises similar to Hacker Rank, with a time limit. I felt this was redundant since I already did a Hacker Rank round. It felt like they intentionally made it hard to not select candidates, and the interviewer seemed untrained. It was a negative experience except for the HR round. I wouldn't recommend interviewing here.
