First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bigtincan.
Software Developer
It was mostly a summary of my past experiences and probing if I was a fit for the technologies listed. I attended two interview rounds in total, one with a recruiter and another with the VP of engineering.
- Can you tell me about the last project you worked on?
Software Engineer
I went through 3 rounds of interviews. First, I had a take-home test where I was given Figma and had to build a project in React, since the role was for a React developer. Then, I had a second interview that was a mix of technical and behavioral questions. Finally, I had a third round which was a live programming test.
- What would you do if you ended up doing the opposite of what was requested?
Software Engineer
So I was first reached out by someone from talent acquisition, and we talked about the company and what kind of work environment I'm looking for. Then I had an interview with two developers who are based in Australia, where we would work together. It was over an hour but honestly felt way shorter. They asked me a ton of technical questions and were cool when I wasn't totally sure about some answers. My last interview was with the VP of Engineering, who gave me a whole rundown of how development works at Bigtincan and asked me a bunch of questions about my background and experience. A couple days later, I got an email with detailed feedback and then a call from my initial talent acquisition contact where they offered me the job. I was choosing between two offers then, and a huge reason I picked Bigtincan was how the interview process went and the impression the people I met left. I'm still super happy with that choice two months later.
