Got a call from HR to set up an interview for that week. The hiring manager interviewed me the next day, and then I had a technical screen the week after. I didn't pass the first technical interview. I felt like their technical screen for Data Scientists was more focused on candidates with a biology background, particularly in proteins, and some stats/data analysis knowledge.

The interview process was pretty standard for a biotech company, nothing out of the ordinary. There were a good number of case studies and discussions about my background with the team members. Everything was conducted on Zoom and on time. Overall, it was a good experience.

Behavioral Technical Coding Presentation

The interview process had a few parts. First, there were two chats with the Head of Talent and hiring manager about my experience. Then, I had a coding test to do at home, which should have taken 1-3 hours. After that, there was a 45-minute session where I had to act like I was working on a data science project for the company. Lastly, I had a full-panel day with multiple 30-minute 1:1 interviews with various people from different teams. It all went smoothly and felt well-organized. The technical parts helped me see what the job would be like. I got lots of chances to ask questions about the company and the role, and they answered everything thoroughly. It was a really well-put-together process.
