First, an assistant manager gave me a tour of the store and explained the different departments and how they worked. Then I was asked to come back in a few days to meet with the store manager. The meeting with the store manager went like this: What do you know how to do? How can you help us/ do you understand what we are about? Do you have any questions for me? It was a really easygoing chat. I liked it because it felt like the managers were giving me a chance to work for them. You should always have a good work ethic with any job you apply for.
