I applied online and heard back in a couple weeks. First, I had a phone screening, then another phone interview where I was hit with a bunch of quick questions. The interviewer was really blunt, interrupting me and saying my answers weren't good enough, making me re-answer without letting me finish. It was super stressful, and I thought I was done for. But somehow, I moved on to a final video interview that included a presentation. I waited for feedback on the presentation, but it was kind of harsh, and it felt like they'd already decided against me. I'm not sure if I would have gotten an offer, but I withdrew my application because I didn't want to work in that kind of environment.

I found the job on Craigslist and applied online. About a week or two later, I got a phone call to set up an in-person interview at the office. I met with the CEO and Program Director. They talked a lot about the position and my responsibilities. They asked about my experience with kids and why I was looking for a new job since I was still employed. The interview was pretty casual, and I felt like they liked me. They also told me about the salary and benefits during the interview. A week after that, I got a call with the job offer. I ended up working there for about two and a half years.

I did a phone screen and then came into the office for a job interview. When I got to the office, the elevator was packed and the person who got on last looked really sad. I figured they worked for BBBS, maybe a mentoring manager since I'd worked for them before. I was interviewed by a panel of three people. Two of them were okay, but the main person, who seemed to be in charge since there wasn't an ED, made it feel like an interrogation and assumed a lot of incorrect things about me. I knew I wouldn't work for her even if I got an offer, and the other two seemed a bit scared of her too.
