First, I had an interview with the recruiter. Then, I was asked to apply online and complete the full application process, which felt redundant. The interview with the hiring manager was not great. She was on a call from a conference, seemed distracted, and kept turning her camera on and off. I didn't feel like she was paying attention. After that, I was told I had to do another test to show how I'd help clients. I did some research, but the test needed a level of product knowledge that's not realistic for someone new to the platform. I waited three weeks for feedback, and when I got it, they said I hadn't done enough research. I had mentioned several company points, and there was only one interviewer, so the feedback didn't match our talk. This experience made it clear it wasn't a good fit. If this is how they treat candidates, I can only imagine internal communication issues. It looks like the role has been open for a while, which might mean problems with their hiring.

The interview process is structured, starting with screening and resume review. Then there are several interview rounds where they check your technical skills and if you're a good cultural fit. After that, there are assessments, reference checks, and finally a job offer. The goal is to see if you have the right skills, experience, and fit for the team. The steps are: 1. Application/Screening to shortlist people. 2. Interviews: first a quick screening, then deeper interviews which could be behavioral or technical. 3. Assessment to check specific skills. 4. Selection to make the final decision. 5. Offer to give you the contract. It's a 7-step process which includes application, screening, and pre-selection. There are also interviews, assessments, and offer stages. Types of interview questions can be structured, meaning a list of specific questions asked in order.

Behavioral

I was pretty disappointed with this company. I interviewed for the SDR role they had. I went through multiple stages of the interview process and followed up professionally, only to be completely ghosted. It was frustrating to invest time and energy into a role I was genuinely excited about, with no closure or response. Candidates deserve timely and respectful communication, even if it's a simple rejection. It left a negative impression of the company’s candidate experience. I would not recommend interviewing with them as it is really a waste of time and energy.

Behavioral Other

The interview started out okay with both a recruiter and the hiring manager, but then I was asked to do an assignment that felt too early in the process. The assignment required me to role play attracting new business, which seemed like something the training team or manager should teach. I found it difficult to complete the assignment effectively given I was new to both the industry and the company. I also had to submit it in less than 24 hours, with the hiring manager suggesting I only spend an hour on it. Although it was a Word document without a timer, I felt it needed more attention than an hour. The hiring manager's warning that I could opt out if the assignment was too tough was off-putting, as I was interviewing for the job and intended to do my best. The most frustrating part was waiting almost 4 weeks for any feedback. I eventually received a standard rejection email. Given the long delay, I had already assumed I wouldn't be selected. While I felt I performed well in the interviews, the overall experience was not great. Good luck to future applicants.

  • It's hard to remember the questions asked because it was almost a month between the interview and receiving the standard rejection email.
