Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BIC.
Maintenance Manager
The interviews were poorly structured and lacked information. There was poor communication between company departments. The first interview seemed okay, but as the process progressed, it became clear something wasn't right.
- Can you describe your experience?
- What sector do you come from?
- Tell me about yourself.
Manager
The Talent Acquisition process was disappointing. The HR representative I had a scheduled interview with wanted to reschedule for the end of the day. I was flexible and made myself available a second time that day, but they never showed up. Since this missed interview, the recruiter hasn't apologized for their absence and has completely ghosted me. I apologize for applying to your company and thank you for not moving forward with my application, indirectly, because we clearly do not share the same values.

Senior Manager
Started with a general chat with a consultant. Then, a phone call with the Recruiting Manager focused on your accomplishments and what skills you'd bring. The final stage was a video call with the Director to assess your attitude, knowledge, and how you'd add value to the role.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What are some of your key achievements?
- Could you outline your current role and responsibilities?
