Super structured process with a bunch of interviews to get in. First one was to give you the lowdown on the job and the team. They wanted to see if you'd be a good fit. Second interview was a technical one with the manager and a senior dev, just asking standard questions to check your tech skills for the role.

It started with an initial screening, then I had 2 interviews. One was with HR, the hiring manager, and a coworker. We talked about my previous experience, how my skills fit the new role, what to expect, and the details of the job.

I had an interview over Teams with a Team Lead and an adjuster. The adjuster used to be an attorney but has only been an adjuster for about a year and a half. The Team Lead was nice, but the adjuster was not. He made me feel like he didn't even want me there. The adjuster asked most of the questions. When I answered, he would follow up with 'what else' or 'anything else.' It was awkward. The Team Lead seemed uncomfortable with how the adjuster handled the interview.

A recruiter reached out and told me to apply. The interview was within a few days. The interviewers were nice but a bit distracted by their IM. Since it was a new role, I got the impression they weren't sure exactly what they were looking for. They had some wild expectations, wanting someone with deep engineering experience and master project manager skills, which is rare. Overall, it was a great experience and I enjoyed the session. I still don't know if I got the job two weeks later, but they did a nice job.
