They asked some basic questions about Web APIs and C# testing procedures. They seemed ready to make an offer, but I turned it down because they only offered 15 days of PTO, even though the recruiter had mentioned 20-25 days. I wouldn't have gone through this interview if I knew about the PTO policy. The salary was acceptable, but their PTO policy is really not competitive and needs improvement.

I had an initial phone screen, followed by two technical interviews with engineers. I don't remember the exact questions or if there were coding exercises, but I don't think so. They focused more on team building and leadership abilities, and on philosophy, which seemed aligned with their objectives. I was close to an offer, but the role was put on hold because of COVID-19, as they didn't want to hire remotely. They said they'd keep me updated, but then I was ghosted. Four months later, they emailed saying the position was eliminated, which was strange because they claimed it was in response to my inquiry, but I hadn't followed up. Maybe they sent a mass email to candidates? It felt disorganized. I'd advise being upfront about COVID-19's impact on hiring and communicating more throughout the process.

After a recruiter reached out on LinkedIn, I had a roughly 30-minute intro phone call. Then, there was an hour-long technical interview with two senior developers where we went over some React code. The last stage was a 45-minute meeting with the engineering manager. Everyone I talked to was really nice, friendly, and helpful. They were also quick with communication and feedback. Overall, it was a very pleasant interview process.
