It was a really good interview, purely technical, focusing on electrical machines. You should definitely prepare for the areas where you have expertise. Also, make sure to prepare for HR-related questions. It's also good to know the locations of BHEL offices.

So the interview process for the DTG intern role was pretty easy, I think I did well. It was conducted in hinglish, a mix of Hindi and English. They asked about my academics and covered C#, SQL, C++, and DSA.

The interview can differ based on the company, industry, and role, but here's the general flow. First, you apply, submitting your resume, cover letter, and sometimes samples. Recruiters then screen your app to see if you fit. If so, you might get a quick phone screen. Next, there's usually a phone or video chat, mostly to check your basic qualifications, if you'd fit the culture, and your interest. A recruiter or HR person usually does this. They might ask about your background, why you applied, and why this company. Expect questions like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'Why do you want to work here,' and 'What are your strengths and weaknesses?' This usually takes 15-30 minutes. Finally, some places might have you do an assessment or test, like a skill test, coding challenge, case study, or personality test, depending on the job.

So first there was like a self introduction where I talked about myself, my hometown, qualifications, job experience, family background, and my skills. Then there was a take-home assignment, and after that, we discussed my job roles and responsibilities. Finally, there were technical questions, expected salary, my goals, hobbies, strengths, and weakness.
