This was primarily through a recruitment agency. They submitted my name for the position then a day or two later was told they were interviewing the next day. I'm not a super big fan of shirt notices as I already had an interview scheduled and really don't like to miss work for two in a day. Then the interview was a video interview and it started off with a description about the job but there was a lot of repetition in the description that made me think either they just want to talk or they are trying to sell me on the position. And then introductions went around for the four people in the interview and then myself. Then a question was asked of what do you know about the company and I replied with what I knew and some more questions. Then I asked some of my questions and they went into more after. I thought it was an alright back and forth of questions. But then they didn't offer and gave feedback of I didn't have enough confidence. But after thinking about it more, it seems they actually didn't display confidence well with the first description and seeming like it was a sales pitch for the job. So I think they were putting their lack of confidence on to me. I also didn't have a ton of time to prepare because they wanted it the next day. They also had two positions open but wasn't sure which team I would be on.

Got a phone call from the regional maintenance manager, who I was referred to by the sales manager at HD Supply. They asked me to come in for an interview and they described the job. I did a skills test and got 97%, then filled out the application and attached my certifications: EPA Universal and Pool Operator's Certificate. They offered me the position and we discussed salary. My background and drug test came back clear, and I started 3 weeks later.

I applied for Bramblewood Apartments for the Assistant Leasing Consultant role. The whole thing took about an hour. The property manager was really nice and walked me through everything and what she expected from me. She also showed me around and asked me a bunch of questions. I thought it went really well, but sadly, I didn't get the job. I'd like to try again with another apartment complex that works with BH management because I think they're a good company to work for.
