Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BGB Group.
Account Manager
The interview process was pretty straightforward. Initially, I spoke with HR, followed by a meeting with a couple of people from the hiring team. However, after that, I received no further communication. HR didn't respond to my follow-up attempts or provide any feedback. This experience left a lasting negative impression, as it contrasts with what I've encountered with other agencies. It's a small world, as they say.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in BGB and what's motivating your job search at this time?
Account Manager
I had a phone screen with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with three employees. The whole experience was terrible. The final manager I met seemed to have not even looked at my resume and quickly put me in a box. She was rude and told me my experience wasn't relevant, even though I was working in pharma at the time. She was distracted by her phone and seemed uninterested. I got a really bad feeling and thankfully they didn't follow up. If you want to attract good candidates, you need to put in more effort. An interview should be a two-way street, and I wasn't impressed.
- What experience do you have with drugs?
Account Manager
I met a nice person from the company at a career fair at my school. I gave them my resume and they emailed me for an interview. I said yes and had a 1 hour phone scree. Two weeks later I went to BGB HQ for the interview. A senior account manager interviewed me.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with data?
