So I had this interview, right, and it was like half an hour long. Mostly the person I was talking to just went on about themselves, their team, and the job. They also mentioned they're trying to get more junior people in to help them out with their workload.

I met with a recruiter, then the hiring manager and then their boss. The conversations were very free flowing and not too formulaic. I enjoyed the conversations, sent my thank you notes, and then never heard back from hr after a followed up a week or so later. It’s so incredibly unprofessional to ghost someone and might I say so disrespectful. When applicants take the time to interview and prep, the very least you could do is at least send a form letter saying thanks, but no thanks. It’s not that hard and this is a small world.

I had a phone screen with HR, followed by an in-person meeting with three employees. The whole experience was terrible. The final manager I met seemed to have not even looked at my resume and quickly put me in a box. She was rude and told me my experience wasn't relevant, even though I was working in pharma at the time. She was distracted by her phone and seemed uninterested. I got a really bad feeling and thankfully they didn't follow up. If you want to attract good candidates, you need to put in more effort. An interview should be a two-way street, and I wasn't impressed.
