Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BeyondTrust.
Account Executive
The entire interview experience was smooth and very professional. It felt more like a high-level strategic discussion than a grilling session, from the initial contact all the way through to the final interview. It was great to see how well-organized everything was.
- Could you outline your proposed market strategy for Indonesia, specifying target accounts and products?
Account Executive
I went through 3 rounds of interviews over more than 2 months. First, a recruiter call, then an interview with the Sales Director, and finally with the VP of Sales and the Sales Director. They offered me a lower position at the end, saying I didn't have the experience for the role, even though my resume hadn't changed. They should have screened me out earlier instead of wasting my time and then offering a lesser role. This has damaged my credibility with this company.
- Can you discuss your overall work experience?
Account Executive
So, first I had a screening call with a recruiter. Then, I had a zoom interview with the Hiring Manager. After that, I went into the office for a more involved interview which had a role play, a short product demo, and I had to give a business plan presentation. The final step was an interview with the VP of Sales where we talked about my background, how I approach learning, and who I seek out for coaching.
- Can you tell me why you're interested in working at BeyondTrust?
- What's one key thing you'd like us to take away about you?
