Applied online and got a response on the same day. There were two rounds in total. The first round was a phone screening, which mainly involved a technical discussion covering my past and current experience, and general knowledge about the job's domain. The second round was an on-site interview with three separate panels. These panels were similar to the phone interview but also included two whiteboard/coding questions and a short system design question. Everyone was very friendly, and the process felt very organized.

I went through a 3 part interview process. First, there was a Phone Screening with an HR rep where we talked about my past experiences, career goals, and she answered my questions. She told me right away I'd move to the next stage. Then, a Phone Technical Screening with 2 engineers who dug into my projects and technical skills, asking detailed questions about my resume tech. They even cloned my github projects. Finally, an Onsite Interview at their Glendale office, all expenses paid. It had 3 separate 1 hr interviews: 2 technical and 1 behavioral with an engineering manager. The first technical interview was role-specific (front end), the second was a general algorithms question that took the whole hour. They seemed to care about work style and problem-solving, even though I didn't fully solve the algorithms question.

I'm a senior software engineer with about 10 years of experience, and I found this company's interview process to be really weird and unprofessional. After a Zoom call with the hiring manager, I was invited for an on-site interview in LA. The company said they'd cover my travel expenses from the Bay Area, so I paid for my trip to LA and attended the interview. They then sent me an expense claim form, which I filled out and submitted. It's been over 6 months, and I still haven't received any money. I've emailed them several times, and they always said it was still being processed. A few weeks ago, I followed up again, but they stopped responding. This whole experience has been incredibly unprofessional and greedy, not paying me back for expenses they promised to save a small amount of money. I'm glad I didn't join them, as I'm sure I would have faced serious ethical and professional issues working there.
