It was a face-to-face interview where they asked some general questions about my previous work experience and my current job profile. The overall experience was just okay, and I wasn't a fan of the location. They offer a lower salary, and it's not guaranteed they'll respond quickly after the interview.

The interview experience with Beyond Limits was top-notch from the start. It was super organized, really clear, and they moved things along fast. The recruiters were on point and let me know what to expect at every step. The interviews mixed technical stuff with behavioral questions, which was cool for showing off both my skills and how I tackle problems. I really liked how they seemed focused on new ideas and teamwork. The interviewers were into the conversation, making it more than just a Q&A. Getting feedback fast and them keeping me in the loop was also a big plus. They really seem to care about candidates, and I got a great vibe about the team and the company. Definitely recommend them!

Behavioral Technical

The interview process was just okay. The interviewer seemed disorganized, and it took them 2-3 days to respond to emails. They scheduled the interview for 11 AM, but called at 9:30 AM, claiming they were a bit early for the 10 AM slot, and disagreed when I mentioned the email stated 11 AM. Despite this, the interview itself went smoothly. The benefits offered are really good, but the salary is significantly lower than expected, especially considering the requirement for at least 5 years of experience. Therefore, I declined the offer.

Behavioral Technical Coding

I went through a 3 part interview process. First, there was a Phone Screening with an HR rep where we talked about my past experiences, career goals, and she answered my questions. She told me right away I'd move to the next stage. Then, a Phone Technical Screening with 2 engineers who dug into my projects and technical skills, asking detailed questions about my resume tech. They even cloned my github projects. Finally, an Onsite Interview at their Glendale office, all expenses paid. It had 3 separate 1 hr interviews: 2 technical and 1 behavioral with an engineering manager. The first technical interview was role-specific (front end), the second was a general algorithms question that took the whole hour. They seemed to care about work style and problem-solving, even though I didn't fully solve the algorithms question.

  • What about general algorithm questions like string manipulation, tree traversal, recursion, etc.?
  • Can you solve the LeetCode's word ladder question?
