First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beyond Finance.
Senior Strategy and Operations Manager
The interview process started with a recruiter screening, followed by a case study interview with the hiring VP. Both interviews were pleasant. The case study would benefit from practice in comparing two scenarios and articulating your thought process to decide which one is the best investment.
- Given data from a prompt, compare two potential projects and recommend one.
Strategy Analyst
The interview process started with a 15-minute phone screener to go over my qualifications. I talked about my past work and gave an example of a project relevant to the role. Then, I advanced to an interview with the hiring manager, which was a 30-minute case interview. We started with intros and then dove into the case. The case involved picking between two projects to prioritize based on which was more beneficial. This part took about 15-20 minutes. After the case, there was time for some questions about the job and the company.
- Given two potential projects, one to shorten automated call greetings from 15 seconds to 5 seconds and another to address issues with clients linking old bank accounts to new ones, which should be prioritized and why?
Strategy and Operations Manager
I applied online and a third party recruiter reached out to me for a phone screen. Shortly after he connected me with the hiring manager. I had two rounds of interviews with the HM. The interview was more of a conversation than structured behavioral questions. After my last interview, I never heard from the company again.
- Can you tell me about a project you worked on?
