Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Beyond Finance.
Client Support Specialist
The interview went really well. The person interviewing me was super nice and made me feel comfortable. We talked about the job itself, what they expect from someone in this role, and the main duties. After we finished, they got in touch about two hours later and sent over an offer.
- What is your approach to handling your very first customer call?
Client Support Specialist
It was a pretty standard process. First, a phone call with the recruiter, and then an interview with a specialist from the team. They asked the typical customer service questions you would expect. Had easy conversations with both the recruiter and the supervisor.
- Describe a situation where you demonstrated empathy.
Specialist
Had a video interview where the recruiter was casually dressed with a messy background, making it seem like they joined last minute. The interview itself went fine, and we talked about what's next. But then, a few days later, I got an email saying they weren't proceeding. It was hard not to ask if I was overdressed. Didn't have a good impression of the process or how the company was represented.
- Can you walk me through your experience?
