I applied and heard back via email in 2 days. My first interview was with the store manager, lasted 30 minutes, and had a ton of questions. Then I had a quick 6-minute chat with the assistant store manager, which I felt went really well and I was less nervous. They said they'd let me know by the end of the week, but it's been two weeks and no contact, so I took another job. Later, I visited the store as a customer and the assistant store manager, who recognized me, helped me but didn't mention my application status.

I applied for a Sales Associate position at a local boutique online. About a week later, I got an email for an interview at the store with the store manager. Since I had 3 years of experience in a similar role, I felt prepared for the questions. The store manager then arranged a phone interview with the district manager. However, the district manager contacted me to say she could come to my city and preferred an in-person interview, which I accepted. This interview was extensive, and the district manager seemed impressed with my responses, my experience, and thought I was a good fit. She mentioned she would inform the store manager and I should expect a call. Unfortunately, I never heard back, and I decided not to follow up due to their unprofessionalism.

I applied via email and heard back the next day to set up an interview with the DM. The first chat with the DM was great over the phone - we discussed store operations, and she asked about my background and answered my questions about the company, location, and training. It felt like chatting with a peer. Then, I had a second phone interview with HR, which was a standard, quick, and straightforward HR interview, but it was fine. My third interview was in person with another Store Manager in the same area, and that was also very interesting. Everyone I talked to seemed really into the brand and happy with their jobs.

I knew the manager so it was very informal. I had sent in a resume and cover letter, and had an in-store interview where I was asked mostly behavioral questions, and was asked to style myself in three outfits for three different occasions. I didn't interview with the DM, even though most prospective associates do. The whole thing took a week max.
