Sales Development Representative
The interview experience was really negative. The interviewers were super arrogant and took up way too much of my time. I felt like I was treated rudely the whole time, and they never even thanked me for the work I did on their projects. I had to chase them down multiple times just to hear that I didn't get the job.
- What questions do you have for me?
Sales Development Representative
This was one of the longest interview processes I've gone through, which really shows how selective this company is. They really take their time to find people whose mindsets and values fit their people-first culture. I honestly think you need to be fully bought into what the company is trying to do to get an offer. The first interview was with recruiting, and the second was with the hiring manager. Then there was a virtual onsite that had four separate interviews: a scenario-based exercise, a cross-functional interview, a review of a take-home assignment, and a mindsets and values interview. The final step was an interview with an executive.
- What's something new you've been learning about lately?
Sales Development Representative
I was so excited about BetterUp and really wanted to work there. After networking to get a referral and applying for two roles that I didn't have direct experience in, I was thrilled they saw my transferable skills and considered me. They seem to really value candidates as additions to their growing company, not just fitting a specific job description. The interview process was quite long; I spoke with six different employees and completed assessments and case studies, with my recruiter guiding me through each step. It was a significant learning opportunity, and I genuinely enjoyed the entire experience. Even if the outcome wasn't a job offer, the personal growth I experienced made it worthwhile, and I'd do it all again!
- Describe a situation where your strong desire for something made you relentlessly pursue it.
