It started with a recruiter screen and then a hiring manager screen. After that, it moved into FAANG or MAANG style rounds. The process concluded with a case study presentation, each with a different audience. This whole thing took a couple of months, and every step needed a lot of prep. Honestly, unless you're super into this specific field, it's probably not worth it because the pay and benefits don't really match up with other companies that have this level of interview difficulty.

The interview process itself felt like it had a good mission and individual team members were great, but it was clear there was a lot of disorganization. Multiple people mentioned leadership changes, like the CPO leaving, and nobody seemed sure who would own product strategy. The job had been posted, taken down, and reposted a bunch, which people said was because priorities kept changing. The interview loop looked good on paper, but it didn't feel very organized or move quickly. After all the rounds, I heard nothing for over 3 weeks and had to chase them for updates. They expected a lot of prep, including an analytical round that apparently most people fail, but then just sent a generic rejection without any real feedback. Some interviewers were really nice and open, but others felt like they were just reading a script and didn't show much emotion. It didn't feel like a cohesive culture, especially for a company focused on mental health. It seemed like they made decisions slowly, sent mixed signals, and didn't really live up to their stated values. Candidates should be prepared for this.

I went through a phone screen, then a call with the hiring manager. After that, I had 4 interviews with different team members, covering engineering, product design, analytics, and behavioral aspects of the PM role. I stopped the process since I received another offer.
