Recruiter reached out via email two weeks after I applied on LinkedIn about a 30-minute phone screen. It felt rushed, like she was squeezing it in, even with time for my questions. Honestly, it was too transactional for me. The next step was a take-home assignment with a few questions and an aptitude test. I didn't get any feedback after submitting it. Then, I had three separate Zoom interviews with the manager, recruiter, and team lead. The manager interview included a mock call, the recruiter interview focused on culture fit, and the team lead interview had general questions. The recruiter actually asked the most interesting questions and was much more genuine than the first recruiter. The manager and team lead asked the same questions. None of the interviewers could give me a clear answer about the next steps, they were just guessing. Even when I asked if they had any concerns about my application, they weren't upfront. The recruiter did suggest emailing them after the interview. I got a generic email the following week, which was surprising given they use Greenhouse, which usually leads to a more organized and feedback-driven candidate experience. Hiring seems to be booming, so getting feedback is probably unlikely and it feels more transactional here.

I applied online and then got an email for the first step, which was a recorded interview where I could re-record my answers a few times. If they liked my responses, my recruiter then reached out to schedule a call to discuss the job role, salary, and so on. You also take an assessment test during this time. After the recruiter call, you move on to the final interview stage. There were two separate interviews plus one mock call. The whole process was really smooth! They let you know within 2 days if you got the job.

I got referred by an employee in early 2021. First I had a phone interview with a recruiter from HQ in NYC. Then, I had to do an online assessment, which included a timed test and a standard 'this describes me/does not describe me' questionnaire. Before my virtual interviews, I had to sign an NDA. I then had two back-to-back interviews with different recruiters. One focused on my background, and the other involved a mock call. Three days later, I was informed I wouldn't be proceeding. I was really bummed because I thought I nailed the virtual interview.
- Describe a situation where your manager criticized you and explain how you dealt with it.
