So, the interview process started with a recruiter call, then a hiring manager chat. After that, there was a case study that we had 24 hours to complete. The 'Super day' was next, which had 5 interviews, including 2 case studies. The really final round surprisingly involved yet another case study, which was unexpected since I thought it would be more of a final check-in, not another big case study. It felt like a toss-up, especially since there were two positions open. Based on the process, you can tell they're super hard workers, which is great, but maybe not the best if you're looking for a job with a lot of work-life balance.

This was by far the worst interview experience I've had at a tech company. I interviewed for two roles. Recruiter 1 reached out about my availability but never followed up. When I emailed, they set up a call but weren't prepared. The interviewer was rude about salary expectations and dismissive of my questions about the role. I got a generic rejection after 1.5 weeks. Recruiter 2 was easier to follow up with and knew more about the role, but again, knew nothing about compensation. They said they'd check on compensation and never did. It's been over a week since I last heard from them, and they've ignored my email. Talent is hard to find, and I know the company is growing fast, but be more mindful of the pandemic and people needing jobs. Interviewing takes time and energy, so the least your team can do is be prepared and responsive. I wouldn't recommend this company to my network because of how awful this experience was, and I've been in the industry for over 6 years. Top talent needs transparency about compensation, and trying to hide that information will hurt the company's reputation. Good luck, you'll need it.

The whole thing took about two weeks. It felt very impersonal, like I was just a number being tested on my ability to answer questions. They never asked me about myself, even during the first phone screen. We just dove into questions without any real introduction. It felt more like they were trying to sell me on the role. I didn't get an offer after three rounds, which was probably for the best.
