The whole process took about a month and a half. I had a few different types of interviews: one-on-one, a panel interview, a project, and a presentation. I talked to six people from Better Place Forest in total. All in all, it was about 20 hours of work over 6-8 weeks, including the interviews, projects, and any prep time.

It started with a recruiter phone screen, then a video call with the hiring manager. The afternoon consisted of an on-site with 5 back-to-back interviews and a presentation. Overall, it was a really great experience. The company is full of smart, thoughtful, and engaging people doing important work. Every interview was pleasant, made me think, and felt fair. They asked a good mix of scenario-based questions, discussed marketing philosophy, and really dug into my past job experiences.

First, I had a phone screen with the hiring manager, and then a full-day onsite meeting with more team members. They asked me to go over my career history, tell them how effective I was in those roles, and then we talked about business challenges and my proposed solutions. It was a really enjoyable interview. I felt like I got to know the team well and also got a sense of what the job would be like.
