Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at bet365.
Marketing
First up was a Zoom call with HR for the Denver office. It was pretty chill and friendly, mostly standard questions about marketing and my past work. The person seemed a bit unengaged, like they were just going through the motions.
- Tell me about a time you dealt with conflict.
Marketing Executive
So the whole process had a telephone call, then a test they sent by email which I think was tricky but I managed it. After that, I had an interview at the Bet365 office, which was pretty easy, just some general questions and they went over the test. The process was ok, but it was annoying that after not getting picked, they didn't give any feedback on what I could improve or just general comments on my interview.
- Can you show your Excel skills, like pivot tables and index?
- Calculate KPIs from the raw data.
- Answer compliance questions for the UK.

When I got there, I was put in a room with two people who were interviewing me. The interview was pretty chill, and both of them were really nice. They gave me time to think about my answers and we had a good conversation.
- What's your approach to handling a confrontational situation?
