The whole thing took about a month. First, there was a phone call. After that, I got invited to an assessment centre at the bet365 Stadium in Stoke. The day involved group activities like negotiating and teamwork exercises, such as building a tower and the 'people stuck in a cave' scenario. We also had to give a group presentation about a failing hotel, complete a mental maths test, and then had a solo interview. It was a really packed and long day, but it was good fun and I enjoyed meeting the other candidates.

I was invited to an Assessment Center, which was an all-day event. We had to build a tower as a group, where they assessed our negotiating skills, teamwork, and communication. Then, we had 10 minutes for a numerical test that involved simple multiplication, division, and fractions. After that, we were given a case study about hotel service. We had to work as a group to prepare a presentation on how to improve the service and also create a financial plan. We then presented this to three interviewers who asked us a lot of questions. Finally, there was another test called 'Who would you save from a cliff?', where we had 6 people and could only save 3, and we had to judge them based on provided person specifications.

After submitting my CV at a Bet365 careers fair, I was invited to an assessment centre at their stadium in Stoke. The day was about 9 hours long and included three group tasks (a presentation and two exercises), a quick mental maths test, and a face-to-face interview. There were quite a few long breaks, making the day feel longer. The group tasks were fun, probably because my group got along well. We had to suggest ways to improve a struggling hotel, figure out how to rescue people trapped in a cave, and do a negotiation simulation between three fictional countries. The people running the assessment were late because of traffic, so we didn't finish until about 5:45 PM. I didn't get a job offer, and they refused to give feedback, saying it's not their policy. It felt like a waste of time not getting any feedback.
