The interview process was really friendly and informative, with two rounds in total. The interviewers, being in sales, did a great job of 'selling' the job, which is important for a commission-only role. They emphasized that the training is thorough, and what really convinced me was their employee retention rate, which suggests people can succeed here. Since I'm also a person, it seems like a good fit!

I applied for a Sales Representative job that was advertised in two neighborhoods near my house. In the first phone call, they explained the 'becoming a BVM publisher' program. As we talked more, it became clear that BVM was actually looking for new publishers in those areas, and the Sales Representative jobs I saw advertised weren't really open. I think advertising a Sales position when you're really trying to find a publisher is a misleading tactic. It's a bummer because usually, BVM reviews are pretty good. I think I saw another review on Glassdoor that was a lot like mine.
