I applied online, uploaded my cover letter and resume. Got an email back super fast, within 2 hours, to set up a phone interview. The phone interview was pretty basic, mostly asking about my experience tutoring, how I work with others, what I'm studying, and my availability. They scheduled an in-person interview right after. When I got there for the in-person one, they immediately gave me a math test. Some of it was a bit tough, and I had to leave a few problems blank because I didn't remember the info. After the test, they asked me what I knew about the company, what I was comfortable tutoring, and my availability again. Then, they had me explain a couple of math problems to see how I teach. I got the job offer via email the next day.

I had a first interview over Zoom, and it seemed like there was going to be a second interview scheduled onsite. But, I decided not to move forward with the team after the first interview.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • They asked some mathematical questions, which surprised me because I thought it would be a mock teaching session but it was just to assess my math skills.
