The interview process was very relaxed and pleasant. It consisted of an initial getting-to-know-you phone call, followed by an in-person meeting where we discussed the job description. During the phone call, everyone's CV was discussed, and I was asked about Q-Methods, as they were important for the job posting. In the face-to-face meeting, I was asked about my approach to FMEA and when it's best used in the product lifecycle.

The application process usually starts formally with a cover letter. After that, the company usually quickly initiates telephone contact. The actual interview often focuses on what the employee envisions and what future opportunities exist within the company for them. A decision, whether positive or negative, is communicated promptly. Overall, you are received well, and no stress-inducing tests are included.

Applied via the online platform, which was clearly laid out for applicants. Received an invitation for the interview in less than a week. Met with the recruiter and the current working student. They introduced themselves and gave a brief overview of their careers at Bertrandt. Then, the interview flow was explained. The recruiter described the company and the tasks of the HR department. I was then asked to introduce myself. The whole conversation was very relaxed and on an equal footing. No particularly difficult questions were asked, but good preparation was important.
