Consultant
I applied in early December 2025 and a recruiter got back to me three weeks later. I did a phone screening at the end of December. The recruiter explained the job and asked about my past roles. She was informative and quick. She mentioned they prefer local hires or people willing to relocate to Portland (HQ). After New Years, about a week after the screening, I heard back that I didn't get the position. I was bummed because I thought I'd be a good fit, but I think they really wanted someone for Portland. The recruiter said they'd had issues with remote hires before, so I guess that's why.
- Can you describe your career path and previous work history?
Proposal Coordinator
The whole thing took about a month to complete. First there was an HR Screening where we talked about the role and what I'd expect salary-wise. Then I interviewed with the hiring manager, followed by an assessment that wasn't paid. The final step was a panel interview.
- Can you describe your experience in providing specific instructions?
- Tell me about your experience working with writers.
- How would you describe your communication style?
Audit Intern
The interview was on campus in a breakout room with two interviewers, one a CPA and the other an HR rep. They were friendly and made me feel comfortable, seeming pleased with my answers. However, I received a call stating I was 'benched' as an alternate. I accepted another offer, and then they later contacted me again saying they wanted me. It was disappointing to be told I didn't get the internship initially, only to be called back later. They should have provided a definitive answer sooner. Aside from that communication issue, the interview process itself went well and I had a good impression of the company at that time.

Administrative
It was a simple interview process. They were upfront about what they were looking for, and the whole thing wrapped up in about 45 minutes. I felt pretty at ease. The questions were pretty standard for an admin role, no real curveballs. It was a panel discussion.
