The interview process was pretty long and tough, but the recruiter did explain it all to me. I actually made it to the very end. The recruiter was definitely the most pleasant person I spoke with. For anyone wondering, I think they use an ATS because my resume was a 98% match on Jobscan and they contacted me the next day. My first interview was with management, and they really dug into my whole resume. I wasn't super optimistic about it because some of my experience wasn't directly related. Then, I had to do some online testing they scheduled for me about 30 minutes away from my place, so I had to take 3 hours of sick leave from my current job. After passing those, I interviewed with three more people. I think there were maybe one or two reasons I didn't get the offer. One, they might have thought I was hesitant about the role. I was upfront, telling them the title was misleading and that 'Marketing' here was more about sales or account management with outside insurance agents. The other reason could have been a somewhat contentious discussion I had with a manager. We were talking about returning to the office post-pandemic, and the manager mentioned that only vaccinated reps could visit clients. Maybe I misunderstood, but she asked my thoughts on that. Caught off guard, I said I wasn't vaccinated yet and hoped it wouldn't hurt my chances, but maybe it did. On the flip side, I think I might have dodged a bullet; most people seemed very by-the-book, a bit boring, and not very diverse. The whole thing took about two months, so at least it was good practice.

The interview process was pretty standard for an internship, mostly just general questions. However, there was a mix-up when I arrived; they had someone else's resume and hadn't printed mine. They mentioned I'd hear back either way about the internship, but I never did, despite sending a few follow-up emails.

I went to a career fair and gave my resume to a recruiter there. They called me the day before my interview to schedule it. Once I arrived, they had me take an exam before the main interview. The interview itself had pretty standard questions. It was my first full-time job interview, so I was nervous, but I felt like it went okay. The recruiter said they'd get back to me, but I never heard from either recruiter, and it turned out the position wasn't even approved yet.
