Tax Intern
Virtual interviews, pretty easy conversation. They basically talk to you and ask you to tell them about yourself. Pretty easy interviews, nice people. For the New York Office, scheduling was easy and they were available.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Tax Associate
It was a campus interview followed by office interviews. It was a day-long process where we came in the morning and first met everyone in the firm. We had the opportunity to speak to other young professionals in the firm before we started interviewing with partners. Then we spoke to four different partners for about half an hour. Then we went out to lunch and spoke to other firm members. And then the interview process was over.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
Tax Associate
I first spoke with a recruiter. Then, I met with a few partners in my area of interest. They focused more on cultural fit and seemed very friendly, not really testing my tax knowledge, and emphasized their desire for long-term employees.
- Can you tell me about your experience?
- What about your hobbies?
- Describe your background.
