Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bentley Motors.
Industrial Placement Student
I had an online interview with two people. It was a general chat about me and the company, followed by a presentation I'd prepared on a specific topic. They were nice and didn't ask anything too tricky. My advice is to check out their website to get familiar with their products and goals.
- Tell me why you're a good fit for this role.
Industrial Placement Student
The interview process was good and provided support before the interview. It's a great place to interview if you are looking for placement opportunities or want to gain insight into placement interview processes.
- Can you explain how you connect with our company values?
- Tell me about a time you demonstrated something related to our company values.
Intern
After submitting your online application, you'll complete a psychometric test and write about 500 characters on why you want to work for us and in the specific department. Then, there's a telephone interview, which is the standard process. They'll ask how your skill set meets the job spec and what you can bring to the org/role. This phone interview is the last step. If you do well, you've got the internship! They'll call to confirm and you'll get your contract and other docs by post.
- How does your experience align with the job description?
- What unique contributions can you make to the organization or the specific position?
