The interview process for this Product Manager role at BenQ was pretty disappointing. It started with a 30-minute in-person meeting, no phone or video screen first. I got there 15 minutes early and there was a small issue with the receptionist about the time, but it was sorted and I was taken to a conference room. They were 10 minutes late and said we had to keep it short because they had another meeting. It started okay, but then they realized my B2B retail experience wasn't what they wanted for their own brand, even though it was on my resume and LinkedIn. One interviewer checked his phone the whole time. When I asked questions, they didn't seem interested and gave vague answers. I tried to get more info but they were evasive. At the end, one made a snarky comment about my workload. They said it would take two weeks for a decision, but I got an email two days later saying I wasn't moving forward. I felt disrespected. Be aware that their interview process can be dismissive and rushed, especially for product management jobs at BenQ.

They initially called me for a screener, then set up an online interview. At this point, they asked very general interview questions. I'm waiting for a call back to possibly schedule an additional interview.
