It was smooth. First, a friendly recruiter called and asked about my background. It went well, and I got an interview date within a couple of days. Then, there were two rounds. The first was with senior engineers who asked about my background, projects, and experience; it lasted about 45 minutes. The second technical round also went well, but I couldn't solve the problem in time, although I explained how it could be solved. Overall, it felt good. I found out the result after 2 weeks, but unfortunately, I didn't get the job.

Started with a recruiter call, then a 45-minute phone interview. About 15 minutes of that was about the company, and the rest was a tech interview. A week later, I went to Charleston for the in-person interview. They treated me to lunch, and then I had a series of 'thought process' and technical questions from two different groups. It wasn't the hardest interview I've had, but it was definitely in the top 3. The questions covered technical OOP concepts, designing fictional operating systems, and converting the card game WAR into a rules engine. I'd read some negative reviews beforehand and was a bit wary, but I didn't get a bad vibe. The role was for a senior level position, so maybe it's different from the 'grunt' level roles some others criticized. From my experience, it seemed like a great place to work with very smart people. I wish it had worked out; Charleston is a nice city with great beaches, and the corporate HQ on Daniel Island is also a nice location.

First, there was a coding assessment, then an HR screen, followed by a panel interview scheduled on Teams. However, due to technical issues with the Teams platform, the interview transitioned into a group phone call. The audio quality was poor for some participants due to bad service, making it hard to communicate. I never received any follow-up after weeks, and was effectively ghosted.
