The interview process was excellent! I went through three different interviews but the process was very efficient, recruiter and hiring manager provided consistent updates and time to decision was fast.

The recruiter arranged the interview with the hiring manager, and I met with them pretty quickly. It was a strange interview, not behavioral at all. The hiring manager just asked me questions about my current employer, almost like they were on a fact-finding mission about the company's status. I followed up with the recruiter after each interview; she responded within 24 hours and kept saying I'd know the next steps by the next day, but I had to follow up again. I found out I wasn't getting an offer because my application status changed online to complete, but the recruiter completely ghosted me. Around this time, another recruiter contacted me about a different role. I met with him, and he promised to follow up by the end of the week or early next week, but it's now been over two weeks since that first interview. My application is still under review, but I haven't heard anything. I've since accepted a job at another company, but the way I was treated wasn't very professional.

The experience with this company was drawn out, to say the least. I spent a lot of time on calls and emails with HR, employees, and the hiring executive, and each time I was led to believe things were progressing well, only for it to end abruptly and coldly. I was expecting a final call to get ready for an on-site interview, but after their HR went silent, I suspected something was wrong. Eventually, after a lot of follow-up, I got a call explaining it was due to 'timing.' It turns out they had already made an offer to another candidate and were just keeping me on the hook in case that fell through. I also heard things are a bit cliquey there right now, which might have been a good thing. My gut feeling is I might have been overqualified and seen as a threat to someone else's position. This is just speculation after replaying some of our conversations. In today's business world, time is too valuable to waste. This company really needs to rethink its interview and hiring process to stop wasting everyone's time and money on long discussions that go nowhere. I can only imagine the strain it puts on their own employees. The employees I did interact with were polite and professional, though.
