Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was done online through the Benefit Cosmetics website. It was a one-way video interview where I had to answer some questions in a set amount of time. The questions were about customer service, understanding the brand, communication, and why I want the job. It was a clear and structured process, and I could do it whenever I wanted, showing my personality and if I fit the role.

There was a recorded interview that was intense and could only be done once. Then there was a fun Zoom makeup audition where I was told to put on makeup so they could see me. After that, I was asked a series of questions about the brand.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation Other

First I filled out an online form. Then I had a quick phone call interview a few days later. After passing those, I was asked to come for an in-person interview at Costa near the store at 10am. The interviewer was patronising and made an unfunny joke about a past job. I was then asked to return at 2pm for a trial shift, which meant a long wait of 3 and a half hours. During the trial shift, I was confident, sold a product, described products to a client, and enjoyed myself. I was sent home after the shift and got an email the next day saying I didn't get the job, even though I felt I did everything right. It felt like a waste of time and that they might have just used me for free work. The management seemed rude and condescending.
