First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bendigo Bank.
Change Manager
It was a thorough interview process. I had three interviews. The first one was with the recruiter via Zoom. The second was with the organisation change lead, also via Zoom. Then, I had a face-to-face interview with the business area. Unfortunately, I didn't get the position in the end.
- Can you walk me through your skills and experience?
Manager
I applied online. Three weeks later, I had a phone screening with HR. After that, I had two interviews with Managers. The interviewers didn't seem very engaged. I was told I'd hear back in two weeks. I never heard back, even after following up twice in the following weeks. It's surprising for a big company that talks about its culture and integrity, they couldn't even send a rejection email.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe a time you faced a challenge and how you overcame it.
- How do you handle conflict within a team?
Senior Manager
Full background check and prove your experience! It’s structured and will test you if you’re not prepared. You must show and evidence proven success. Everyone is polite but focused on if you're the right fit culturally too.
- Can you share specific examples of your accomplishments and elaborate on them?
- Are you a good cultural fit for the team?
- Can you demonstrate your track record of success?
