It was a campus recruitment drive. The process involved a written test, a group discussion (GD), and then an interview. The interview was quite relaxed, focusing a bit on family background. I mentioned industrial engineering as my favorite subject, so they asked questions about trebligs, performance rating, and time & motion study. There were also some questions related to engines and a behavioral question about a subordinate who was declining to do their job.

They asked me about myself, my qualifications, and what I'm currently doing. Then, we talked about the projects I've done. Since I work in tool design, they asked me about different sheet metal operations and specifically how a countersinking operation was done. Finally, they asked if I was interested in working in production.

Confirmed questions7 questions
  • Could you tell me about yourself?
  • What are your qualifications and what do you do now?

The process starts with a written exam, then there's an interview by a board. It's a standard process. Reservations are provided for different categories as per government rules. The written exam holds a lot of weight, so interview marks are only crucial when there are limited openings.
