The interview process was brief but well-structured. I started with a call with the Head of People to discuss Belong, my career aspirations, and goals. It was a friendly and straightforward conversation. Following that, I had an interview with a Team Lead named Joel. The subsequent meeting was with Erin, the head of the CSM team, and all interactions were quite thorough. The final interview was with the CEO, which was a nice and simple way to conclude the process.

The interview process was pretty straightforward from the beginning. First was a screening call, next was an interview with the TL, next with the director and final was meant to be with the CEO. I made it through 3 rounds of interviews, some taking place very late in the day and then was ghosted by the recruiter when scheduling the final interview my interview with the director. No explanation. I was suppose to have a final interview with the CEO. I was given false times to attend the interview and then was never sent a link or number to phone into for that final interview. I straightforwardly asked if the position was closed and was given a vauge response that I would hear back soon. Well I still haven't heard back months later, nor have the referrals I sent to the recruitment team when they were told they would be hearing back from the Belong team to schedule their next interviews. Belong wastes candidates time and is a company that ghosts employees.

The interview process was pretty long, involving 4-5 individuals. Beyond the initial recruiter chat, speaking with the team manager and team lead was really helpful. They gave a good sense of the day-to-day and set realistic expectations. Then, I talked with the Head and CEO. The key takeaway is that while it's important for me to be a good fit for Belong, they also want to make sure Belong is a good fit for me. Despite being lengthy, it was an informative process overall.
