I recall two interviews. The first seemed to be with HR. They went over the role, the expected hours, what they were looking for in me, and how the commission pay structure worked. She also looked at my portfolio, which gave me a chance to talk more about my background. The second interview was with a Regional Director or Manager. They confirmed I understood the hours and expectations. They also asked some of the same questions as the first interview. I've heard from other photographers that prior experience with newborn photography isn't necessary because they provide training.

It was pretty simple! They did a video interview since they're based in IL. They asked a few questions to get a sense of my skills, equipment, and problem solving abilities with mock scenarios you would face on the job.

The interview process is long and expensive because they require you to go to the doctor for a physical. Whatever you pay, they will only give you $300 back 3-4 months later. It doesn't matter if you needed a blood test or any other tests. They will promise a lot of flexibility, opportunity, and pay, but make sure to get everything in writing and in your work agreement because they will go back on their word.

so you fill out an application, then we have a phone interview, and after that, a face to face interview. Then we do background checks and check medical history. We'll talk a lot about the job and what's needed and what to expect. You gotta have a photography portfolio ready for us to look at to see your skills and experience.
