I applied online and got an email for an online group interview. The group interview was an hour long, covering the company, the job, and expectations. Then, I was individually interviewed by one or more recruiters. After that, it was conditional on passing a physical, criminal record, and vaccine check. The physical assessment involved wearing safety boots, climbing a 28ft ladder with safety gear, lifting boxes, matching wire colors, and a driving test. I received the final job offer via email after passing all checks.

Behavioral Presentation

Got referred by a past coworker. Applied online and emailed my resume. Got a call from the recruiting manager a couple weeks later to discuss the role and recruiting process. Was called in the first week of November. On the first day, the manager was sick so we ended up watching presentations as 'training' for 3 hours. Three weeks later, I was let go due to my commute, even though working from home was stated as fine during the interview and my commute was manageable with communication. My advice is to not apply to BTS as they seem to make excuses.

So, the interview started with a phone call and then we moved to Zoom. I think I did well because I have previous experience working on a tech team. They asked some basic tech support questions and a few hypothetical ones. They presented me with a fake tech problem, and I figured out how to solve it correctly.

First, there was a video interview to do from home with basic questions. A month later, I was called for a written test: writing an email and doing a presentation, all in 1 hour. Two weeks later: a 1-hour in-person interview, with basic questions: why this job, strengths, weaknesses? why you?

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • What are your reasons for wanting this job, your qualities, and your flaws? And why should we choose you?
  • How do you handle organizing your priorities?
