First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Belk.
Supply Chain Analyst
Had a really good HR call, they said my background fit the job description, but then I got ghosted. No update on next steps and no rejection email either. I followed up via email but still no response. What a waste of time.
- In what ways does your prior experience relate to supply chain management?
Demand Planner
The interview process primarily consisted of behavioral interviews. You'll typically interview with the hiring manager and other leaders to make sure you're a good fit for the team. Questions will cover topics like handling difficult conversations and experiences working in tough situations.
- What's the hardest Excel formula you've ever built?
Assistant Buyer
The interview process began with on-campus interviews that were pretty conversational. There were two 30-minute interviews that didn't really ask specific questions. In one of them, we talked about books and traveling. The final interview was an all-day onsite event. We were given a lot of information, took tours, and did some networking. At the end of the day, we had three structured interviews. While they were more formal, none of the questions were surprising. It was definitely more relaxed but still a formal process. The process concluded with a background check.
