A recruiter reached out about three job openings: two Mechanical Design Engineer roles and one Project Engineer position. After discussing my background, I was invited for an in-person interview in Palm Beach a few days later. During the onsite interview, I met with people for a structural mechanical design engineering role, a project engineer role, and a system requirements engineer role. It was a friendly, conversational setting rather than a formal interview. For the mechanical design position, I took a short test with basic questions. The project engineer interview was more of a discussion where I got to know the technical lead and they got to know my experience. The system requirements interview involved the interviewer explaining their work and the role's responsibilities, then asking about my work ethic and eagerness to learn. About three days post-interview, the recruiter called to say the Project Engineer tech lead wanted to offer me the job. I accepted the offer the next day, really appreciating the culture and the connections made.

I only had one phone call interview for an entry level position, which lasted about an hour. It had three parts. First, they asked me to walk them through my resume. Then, they asked about my career expectations. Lastly, I asked them some questions. There were no technical questions, and I did most of the talking.

I got a call from HR who were interested in me. Since the role was in CT, they wanted to do a Skype interview. They were a bit late for our video call, about 5 minutes. Two people from different projects joined the call. They asked me questions related to their projects, taking turns. The interview lasted about an hour. They said they were interested, but I never heard back after that.
